THE CITY OF SUTHERLIN HAS AN OPENING FOR A POLICE OFFICER.
                                                                THIS POSITION WILL REMAIN OPEN UNTIL FILLED.                                                                                                                     
Entry level or lateral Police Officer applications are being accepted at the City of Sutherlin – Applicant must be 21 years of age, have a valid OR driver’s license and a US Citizen. Pay range $56,148 – $75,216 plus 5% Certification(s) pay. Excellent benefits package includes Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage, city paid PERS, vacation and sick accruals, longevity pay and $100k retirement bonus’. Preference will be given to Certified Officers, Veterans, or those with a college degree in Criminal Justice or equivalent.
Applications that have been accepted will be invited to a written and physical abilities test. If ORPAT and/or NCJOST have been completed within the last year, please include those scores with the application.  All applications must be fully completed or they will not be accepted.  Certificates, DD-214, and/or college degree must be submitted with application to receive preference.  Any applications submitted prior to this recruitment process will not be considered.
